Seniors Hit the Road

This week finds our seniors taking their skills into the community!
Our Senior Internship Program provides students in their final semester at Pope Francis High School with an opportunity to explore a profession, vocation or social justice program. Each student must source out their own internship opportunity and is advised by a site mentor. The program culminates with a formal presentation
 to a faculty panel.

Our Sights Are On the Future

Although we are immersed in a flurry of year-end activities, we just couldn't help but pause and reflect on what the future holds for Pope Francis High when we saw this drone photo courtesy of Western Mass News' Bob Hastings!

Our Pride is Not Only for Our Students

So many accomplishments to celebrate this time of year at Pope Francis High School! This Saturday, David Estabrook, a member of our social studies department faculty, will receive his Masters in Education. At last night's hooding ceremony, he was entered into Delta Epsilon Sigma, an honors society established in 1939 for Catholic Universities.

 Congratulations, Mr. Estabrook!

Wrapping Up the Week

Welcome to the Weekend!

Religious Studies teacher, Mr.Hollwedel playing a friendly
game of chess with freshman Tayzhon James after a busy week.

This Reminds Me When ...

Today students in Senora Thomas' Spanish 2 class had "Show and Tell" with a twist! The project was based on the student's favorite childhood object. They were learning the imperfect tense and the preterite tense in Spanish and were instructed to use those tenses throughout their presentation and essay.
A fun and personal way to practice the Spanish language!

No Coasting For Our Students...

The heat is on with a ton of academic year end activity - and it hit 90 degrees this week! Our students are bringing their best right to the end by representing Pope Francis Prep at our New Family Orientation and Social last night. You guys are the best!
